Warehouse Operations Clerk

Responsibilities

• Communicate with outbound carriers via email to provide shipment schedules and equipment needs
• Use a warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare accurate bills of lading
• Ensure all drivers depart with appropriate paperwork and follow standard operating procedures
• Gather and enter shipping data and records into the warehouse management system
• Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and maintaining accurate seal logs and load boards
• Support material handling duties including receiving, picking, packing, and loading
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on trailer moves
• Perform administrative tasks and file outbound paperwork for easy accessibility

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and move items weighing between 50-100 pounds
• Strong organizational, time management, and recordkeeping skills
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Bilingual skills (Spanish)
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
