Warehouse Operations Clerk

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipping-related documents are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with outbound carriers via email regarding schedules and equipment needs.
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Receive drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate data, records, seal logs, and load boards.
• Assist with material handling duties including receiving, picking, packing, and loading.
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters on trailer moves.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and assist leadership with administrative tasks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing between 50-100 lbs.
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational, time management, and recordkeeping skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Bilingual skills (Spanish).
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
