Warehouse Material Handler Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse activities and respond to team member concerns to ensure tasks meet customer and company standards
• Delegate routine tasks, audit work for quality and accuracy, and provide coaching to team members
• Facilitate training for new employees and provide progress feedback to management
• Utilize JDE, RFS, and RF technology to manage inventory movement and product shipping
• Pick, label, stage, wrap, and load orders for shipment with high precision
• Inspect materials, finished products, and machinery for defects to ensure quality compliance
• Support productivity tracking, data input, and reporting to maintain operational efficiency
• Assist in preparing the warehouse for customer visits, internal audits, and tours

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant warehouse experience
• Proven experience operating powered industrial equipment
• Proficiency with JDE/MRP systems, RFS, and RF technology
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office
• Intermediate mathematical and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and push/pull objects up to 30 pounds
