Warehouse Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
• Verify materials against purchase orders
• Store materials in designated areas and ensure proper inventory rotation
• Move materials using forklifts or electric pallet jacks
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials
• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories
• Identify and report quality issues with materials
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Communicate with production, shipping, and receiving departments

Requirements

• Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials
• Basic computer skills for inventory management
• Must be at least 18 years of age
