Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Manage warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance, and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Monitor stock accuracy, inventory control, and warehouse organisation
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage KPIs relating to productivity, service levels, and stock accuracy
• Coordinate with transport, procurement, and supply chain teams
• Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure proper facility upkeep
• Support budget management and cost control within the warehouse function

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse management role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and health and safety standards
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and reporting tools
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to support operational demands where required
• Relevant health and safety or logistics qualifications are advantageous
