Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a warehouse team of 10-15 employees, managing daily operations including Goods In, Despatch, and Storage.
• Track and monitor warehouse performance against KPIs and report findings to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels within SAP and lead the stock count process and annual external sample counts.
• Manage employee relations, including performance reviews, training, absenteeism, and holiday requests.
• Ensure a safe working environment by developing SOPs, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents or near misses.
• Oversee the maintenance of warehouse MHE and equipment, ensuring compliance with LOLER and PUWER checks.
• Resolve stock discrepancies and capacity issues through proactive space management and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and motivating a small team in a warehouse environment.
• Expertise in warehouse procedures, best practices, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, ideally SAP (including PBV and RF scanning).
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a flexible approach to support business needs.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Fork-Lift Truck Licenses (Man-up, Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Pallet Truck).
• Experience applying Lean Principles and tools/techniques.
• Background in the automotive, mechanical, or electrical sectors.
