Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a warehouse team of 10-15 employees, managing daily operations including Goods In, Despatch, and Inventory Management.
• Track and monitor warehouse performance against KPIs and report findings to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels within SAP and conduct root cause analysis for stock discrepancies.
• Manage the stock count process and lead annual external sample counts to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Oversee warehouse Health & Safety, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage employee relations, including performance reviews, training, absenteeism, and holiday requests.
• Coordinate the planned maintenance of warehouse MHE and equipment, ensuring all servicing records are up to date.
• Proactively manage warehouse space and capacity to optimize output.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and motivating a small team in a warehouse environment.
• Expertise in warehouse procedures, best practices, and Health & Safety protocols.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally SAP (including PBV and RF scanning).
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Fork-Lift Truck licenses (Man-up, Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Pallet Truck).
• Experience managing Health & Safety specifically within a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of Lean Principles, tools, and techniques.
• Background in the automotive, mechanical, or electrical industries.
