Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee Warehouse Operations including Receiving, Operations Support, Quality/Inventory Control, Sanitation, and Ripening
• Manage employee performance, hiring, and corrective counseling
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve KPIs to achieve performance objectives
• Ensure proper slot replenishment following FIFO procedures
• Manage daily scheduling of warehouse personnel for cost-efficient staffing
• Direct day-to-day activities including forklift movement and inventory control
• Manage warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Support Food Safety Initiatives including SQF System, PrimusGFS, and Organic Certification

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in material management operations
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Working knowledge of Cal-OSHA or OSHA safety practices
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage change and implement food safety programs

• Bilingual Spanish/English
