Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist with new-hire orientation and train associates on various warehouse functions
• Direct a small team of associates in functional areas such as Case Production, Table Production, and UPS
• Mentor and motivate the warehouse team to ensure high performance
• Assist the warehouse supervisor with daily start-up meetings and wave production planning
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for Labor Data Collection to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor warehouse supplies and equipment, reporting low stock or safety concerns immediately
• Ensure all equipment is utilized safely and efficiently to increase productivity
• Perform basic supervisory tasks in the temporary absence of the warehouse supervisor

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a team of associates
• Experience training co-workers on new processes and procedures
• Proficiency with power equipment, specifically Stand Up Reach and Stock Picker
• Required forklift experience (must be at least 18 years of age if certified)
• Ability to use product scanners effectively with minimal errors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read safety rules and operating instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate
