Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of team members, coordinating shipping, warehouse operations, and material handling activities.
• Coordinate and assign customer orders, shipments, and receiving processes.
• Perform product inventory activities, including confirming physical quantities and reporting variances.
• Train new and current employees on procedures and workflow, documenting their progression.
• Manage employee work schedules to meet business needs and minimize operational disruptions.
• Execute required SAP transactions and maintain accurate time and shipping records.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and drive productivity.
• Ensure warehouse work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Provide backup support for Warehouse Driver and Shipping Clerk responsibilities when required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience leading and following Safety and Security policies.
• Ability to obtain lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Ability to lift up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and physical demands (standing, walking, bending).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
