Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow and adjust operations by directing and guiding team members in assigned departments
• Ensure daily workloads are completed efficiently, focusing on picking, packing, and product movement
• Keep supervisors updated on departmental progress and any operational challenges
• Perform complex individual tasks requiring independent analysis and decision-making
• Assist in the training and retraining of new or current employees
• Maintain safety, productivity, and professionalism in all warehouse activities
• Operate lift equipment safely to protect personnel and company property

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of directly related warehouse or distribution experience
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management software
• Ability to read and interpret orders, product descriptions, and numbers in English
• Basic arithmetic skills for maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
• Ability to lift cartons weighing 10 to 55 pounds and stand/walk for 6 to 12 hours a day
• Ability to become certified in operating lift trucks through the company training program
