Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow and adjust to changes by directing and guiding others in the assigned department
• Ensure daily workloads are completed efficiently and timely
• Keep supervisors updated on department progress and any challenges that arise
• Perform complex individual tasks requiring independent analysis and decision-making
• Assist in the training or retraining of new and current employees
• Maintain safety, productivity, and professionalism in all actions
• Operate all lift equipment safely to protect personnel and company property

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of directly related warehouse or distribution experience
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management software
• Ability to operate lift trucks (must be able to complete the company certification program)
• Strong basic arithmetic skills and ability to interpret orders and product descriptions
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
