Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow and adjust to changes by directing and guiding others in assigned departments
• Ensure daily workloads are completed and keep supervisors updated on progress and challenges
• Perform complex tasks requiring independent analysis, decision-making, and detailed procedural knowledge
• Assist in the training or retraining of new and current employees
• Maintain safety, productivity, and professionalism in all actions
• Operate lift equipment safely to protect personnel and company property

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of directly related warehouse or distribution experience
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management software
• Ability to lift 10 to 55 pounds repetitively
• Ability to stand and walk for 6 to 12 hours per day
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Certification or ability to become certified in lift truck operation
