Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipping, receiving, and storage of materials to meet production requirements
• Supervise daily activities of Warehouse Attendants and monitor performance progression
• Provide direction for warehouse shipments and movements
• Assist in the creation, upkeep, and implementation of standard operating procedures
• Support the Warehouse Manager in problem-solving and departmental coordination
• Ensure quality control and contribute to corporate quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee warehouse safety, including training on forklift safety and proper lifting techniques

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role
• Current Forklift certification
• Proficiency with PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 500 lbs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed
