Warehouse Lead - Pick, Pack, Ship

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Pick, Pack, and Ship area to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency
• Coordinate work with team members and provide mentoring on daily operational tasks
• Perform final inspections of products using measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures
• Process materials with high attention to detail, including checking for damage and managing discrepancies
• Prepare, load, and unload shipments via UPS, FedEx, or freight carriers
• Package products securely using hand tools and appropriate shipping materials
• Document receipts of products and verify items against purchase orders and invoices
• Recommend process improvements to reduce discrepancies and optimize warehouse workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Material Handler, Order Picking/Packing, or Warehouse role
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with mathematical calculations, including unit conversions (e.g., fractions to decimals, square feet to square inches)
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted and perform physical tasks including bending and standing for an 8-hour shift
• Experience using hand tools to cut, package, and secure products
• Ability to use measuring devices like calipers and tape measures for product inspection

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification
