Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse activities and provide coaching and guidance to the team
• Perform data entry for inventory and produce invoices
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Procurement team
• Manage end-of-day communication with the finance team, including scanning receipts
• Coordinate door availability for inbound and outbound drivers
• Distribute daily workload based on priority and ability
• Train new employees on standard operating procedures, including safety, GMP, and SQF policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Report defective equipment or questionable conditions to management

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to obtain certification as a power material handling equipment operator
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and lift for 10 to 12 hours
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related warehouse experience
