Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, scheduling deliveries and pickups
• Lead, train, coach, and support warehouse associates to meet productivity and safety goals
• Oversee daily receiving activities including unloading, inspection, and verification
• Conduct physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions and lot tracking using RF Smart and WMS
• Maintain compliance with GMPs, GWPs, HACCP, SQF, and FDA regulations
• Perform routine inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure warehouse areas are audit-ready

Requirements

• Five years of warehouse experience in food processing, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
• Five years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF Smart preferred
• Working knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including refrigerated areas
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred
