Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe handling and storage of products and promote safety through PPE programs
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments for picking, packing, staging, and inventory management
• Oversee truck loading/unloading, workload scheduling, and delivery schedules
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile shipments
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, FDA, GMP, and Good Warehousing Practices
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment
• Manage accurate data entry, lot tracking, and inventory placement using RF Smart
• Lead, train, and support the warehouse team to meet performance standards
• Oversee daily receiving operations including unloading and verifying deliveries

Requirements

• 5 years of warehouse experience within a food processing facility preferred
• 5 years of experience in both shipping and receiving preferred
• 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory systems
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQF (Safe Quality Food) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Understanding of commercial food processing and food packaging equipment
