About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct the work of team members and advise/train employees on the care and preservation of items
- Ensure customer orders are picked, checked, and packed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Perform inventory counts and make authorized adjustments as needed
- Monitor compliance with safety, security, and regulatory procedures
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including high reach vehicles
- Scan freight via warehouse management systems using RF equipment
- Delegate housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Complete all required paperwork thoroughly and promptly
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of related warehouse experience
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, sit, reach, stoop, and kneel for long periods
- Forklift certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
