Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of team members and advise/train employees on the care and preservation of items
• Ensure customer orders are picked, checked, and packed accurately and in a timely fashion
• Perform inventory counts and make authorized adjustments as needed
• Monitor compliance with safety, security, and regulatory procedures
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including high reach vehicles
• Scan freight via warehouse management systems using RF equipment
• Delegate warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environment
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, or vehicles accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• Greater than three years of related warehouse experience
• Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand regularly
• Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to complete basic checklists and forms
