About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stock counts and investigate variances with detailed reporting
- Manage weekly cyclical stock counts and semi-annual stock counts
- Oversee demand replenishments and forced replenishments to ensure stock availability
- Investigate short pick reports to maintain a short pick percentage below 2%
- Manage stock rotation and daily expiry checks to reduce write-offs
- Oversee warehouse damages, supplier returns, and the credit note process
- Prepare weekly KPI reports and daily handovers to management
- Manage a team of stock clerks and warehouse inventory assistants
- Drive a culture of accountability and ensure adherence to warehouse policies
Requirements
- Experience in inventory management and stock control
- Ability to manage and lead a team
- Strong analytical skills for investigating stock variances and reporting
- Proficiency in managing supplier returns and credit processes
