Warehouse Guard Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team assigned to a classified federal warehouse processing daily cargo deliveries
• Manage personnel breaks and provide coverage for absences or contingencies, including flexibility for up to 12-hour shifts
• Assist in controlling facility access for both personnel and vehicles
• Respond to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, hazardous materials, and inclement weather
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity
• Maintain proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment and control devices
• Perform ad hoc duties as required by the Sponsor

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a security guard or equivalent US Military experience
• Current and active SECRET level security clearance
• Experience leading, directing, or guiding others, including providing performance feedback
• Experience providing formal or informal mentoring or training to others
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems at the lowest level

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of security guard or US Military experience
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience in armed or unarmed security guard supervision
• Experience working in a federal classified facility
• CPR and/or emergency medical training
