Warehouse General Assistant

Responsibilities

• Clean sample coolers for reuse and ensure adequate supply for outgoing shipments
• Store, archive, and dispose of samples and laboratory data following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Assist with moving and tracking samples from login to disposal and long-term archive
• Deliver samples from the receiving area to the appropriate laboratory teams
• Clean and prepare sample containers for various laboratory analyses
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and perform basic facility maintenance
• Carry out on-site monthly wastewater discharge sampling and required record keeping
• Follow all quality assurance protocols and established safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good English communication skills (auditory, verbal, written, and reading)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for a full shift and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including days, afternoons, graveyards, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a laboratory or warehouse environment
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of high school science courses or basic laboratory safety
