Warehouse Foreman

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the warehouse and picking area within a three-shift system
• Ensure strict compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations (AS-Vorschriften)
• Coordinate personnel capacities and manage orders to ensure timely processing and output
• Monitor warehouse and picking processes, specifically within new picking zones, to maintain quality standards
• Manage logistical movements and material availability using SAP (WM/EWM)
• Act as a power user for system-related questions during the shift
• Conduct structured shift handovers and maintain detailed shift protocols
• Participate in continuous improvement processes to develop warehouse operations

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in logistics
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
• Proficiency in SAP WM and EWM
• Experience with automated warehouse systems or high-bay warehouses
• Strong proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work in a three-shift system
• Good command of the German language (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational, coordination, and decision-making skills
• High level of responsibility and ability to act as a role model for the team
