Warehouse First Line Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the key point of contact for administration, stock, and management teams to resolve warehouse issues
• Prepare and complete shift handover documents to ensure seamless operational transitions
• Perform management of Operatives using warehouse management system tools
• Manage team compliance with people processes and policies
• Create training and resource plans to align with capability planning tools
• Ensure compliance with key control, radio logs, scanner logs, and MHE pre-op checks
• Complete all Safe & Legal requirements and monthly WM checks
• Assist with weekly customer updates as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in a First Line Manager or Senior Warehouse Operative role
• Experience in a fast-paced logistics or 3PL environment
• Working knowledge of operational and people management
• Strong computer skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of WMS systems and SAP is an advantage
• Ability to motivate, empower, and coach staff
• Ability to work in a systematic and methodical way
