Warehouse Employee

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including picking, preparing, and packaging materials for shipment
• Operate power vehicles such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers up to a height of 24 feet
• Utilize Voice Directed Picking Equipment to fulfill orders
• Safely operate or work near various equipment including conveyor lines, electric carousels, and dock levelers
• Participate in continuous improvement activities regarding safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and communicate effectively with team members
• Work overtime and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience
• PIV experience, including Forklift, Reach Truck, or Order Picker operation
• Ability to stand on concrete for an entire shift
• Ability to perform repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Capability for repetitive hand manipulation and grasping tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive or trucking manufacturing/distribution environment
• High School Diploma, GED, or further college education
