About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely deliveries to stores as per the route schedule
- Ensure the vehicle leaves the warehouse by 09H00 every morning
- Load the vehicle in an organized manner according to the delivery route
- Check and verify all food items upon loading
- Ensure correct stock is delivered and verified by stores upon arrival
- Minimize product damage through careful handling during loading and offloading
- Report all delivery discrepancies to the warehouse manager
- Verify all returned stock against IBT documents and note discrepancies
- Maintain a neat and tidy delivery vehicle
- Report vehicle damages or breakages immediately
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Code 10 driver's license with PDP
- Proven work experience as a delivery vehicle driver
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
