Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Monitor loading activities to ensure daily requirements and documentation accuracy
• Communicate with jockeys regarding trailer movements and availability
• Liaise with customer service to address specific customer requirements
• Coordinate with supervisors and lead hands regarding daily efficiency and problem areas
• Generate documentation for product cuts and coordinate reloads with production
• Make logical, cost-effective decisions regarding product re-shipping
• Summarize end-of-shift reports detailing loads, departures, and product cuts
• Plan trailer requirements and update access databases for tracking
• Generate invoicing and Bills of Lading

Requirements

• Post-secondary training in General Business, Administration, or Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of office experience
• Strong leadership skills with experience directing people and prioritizing tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work in a low-temperature refrigerated environment
• Ability to remain composed under stressful deadlines and maintain a high sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dispatcher role
• Experience working with an ERP or WMS system
