Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound, internal, and outbound warehouse processes to meet customer expectations and schedules
• Perform warehouse team lead duties, including assigning work activities, coordinating tasks, and reporting
• Monitor shipping cockpit and dock activities, reprioritizing tasks to ensure on-time delivery
• Create and release outbound orders, managing picking tasks and order sequencing for optimal dock flow
• Assign staging areas for outbound loads and dock doors for inbound loads based on product placement and complexity
• Investigate product shortages and reprocess orders to maintain high fill rates
• Coordinate replenishment tasks and product put-away activities to ensure adequate stock in pick faces
• Assist with inventory control by investigating and resolving discrepancies and managing exception codes
• Collaborate with carriers, transportation, quality, and customer service teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of experience in a lead warehouse, logistics, or distribution center role
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret complex documents like customer orders and inventory reports
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted frequently throughout a shift

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year degree in supply chain management or inventory control management
• Experience using SAP
