Warehouse Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound, internal, and outbound warehouse processes, including shipping, dock activities, and inventory control.
• Perform warehouse team lead responsibilities by assigning work activities, reporting, and following up on tasks.
• Manage outbound orders, including picking tasks (case and full pallet), order sequencing, and dock flow.
• Assign staging areas for outbound loads and dock doors for inbound loads based on product placement and complexity.
• Investigate product shortages and reprocess orders to ensure fill rates are met.
• Create and coordinate replenishment tasks, product put-away activities, and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs).
• Assist with inventory control by identifying and resolving discrepancies and completing assigned inventory tasks.
• Partner with carriers, transportation, quality, and customer service teams to meet schedules and customer expectations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a lead warehouse role within a logistics, transportation, or distribution center environment.
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret customer orders, inventory reports, and operating procedures.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year degree in supply chain management or inventory control management.
• Experience using SAP.
