Warehouse Checker/Picker

Responsibilities

• Ensure all local and import parts are properly received, correctly labelled, and damage-free
• Complete Airfreight, Backorder, and VOR tasks within a 4-hour window
• Plan storage for new parts by taking measurements and dimensions to optimize space
• Bin parts according to the FIFO principle and ensure all receiving area items are processed promptly
• Pick rush and stock orders according to schedule to meet dealer delivery cut-off times
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and reach trucks
• Conduct physical bin and part checks to maintain a bin face accuracy of 98.5%
• Follow claims adjudication processes and process dealer returns timeously
• Maintain 5S principles and participate in daily start-up meetings

Requirements

• Matric with Mathematics and English
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an automotive environment
• Strong computer skills are mandatory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• Valid Forklift Driver's License
• Knowledge of the Panda System
