About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the warehouse and related functions to improve automation processes
- Lead material handling process improvement methods for products, facilities, fixtures, and equipment
- Design, implement, and review warehouse procedures and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve major MSI KPIs and maintain product quality
- Brainstorm and present new automation ideas, including autonomous material handling solutions
- Create comprehensive preventative maintenance plans for AGVs and warehouse operations
Requirements
- Rising junior or senior pursuing a four-year degree in Warehouse Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Completion of relevant engineering coursework
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work or internship experience in an engineering field
