Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Hand build pallets of product for bulk and route trucks
• Drive power pallet jacks or forklifts to picking areas to build loads
• Maintain pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping
• Unload incoming trucks and raw materials, placing them in designated spaces
• Load outgoing transport, bulk, and route trucks with strict attention to order accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow housekeeping standards
• Complete paperwork and mark load tickets for out-of-stock items

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period
• Ability to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
• Ability to operate a power pallet jack or forklift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment (order selecting, staging, etc.)
• Experience operating a forklift (maneuvering in tight areas, lifting/lowering, etc.)
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets
• Experience working effectively in a team environment
