Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately fill customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material
• Maintain a safe work environment by following established Standard Operating Procedures and safety rules
• Verify incoming material quantities and descriptions against packing lists
• Prepare branch orders and ensure correct product types and quantities are shipped
• Process shipment paperwork, including labeling and following customer instructions
• Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, reach trucks, and wire cutting machines
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Load company vehicles and common carrier trucks

Requirements

• No prior experience required; warehouse experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like stooping, kneeling, and climbing
• Basic computer knowledge and mathematical calculation skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Certification to operate warehouse equipment is preferred
