Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including picking, preparing, and packaging materials for shipment
• Operate power vehicles such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers up to a height of 24 feet
• Utilize Voice Directed Picking Equipment to fulfill orders
• Safely operate or work near various equipment including propane lifts, electric carousels, conveyor lines, and compactors
• Participate in continuous improvement activities regarding safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all standardized work procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements

• Proven experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIV) such as Forklift, Reach Truck, or Order Picker
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to stand on concrete for an entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Capability for repetitive hand manipulation and grasping tools
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work overtime when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive or trucking manufacturing/distribution environment
• High School Diploma or GED
