Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse operations including crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks
• Load loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipment
• Build crates from wooden materials for product shipment
• Repair or reseal damaged cartons and rebox products as needed
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and perform general maintenance
• Participate in plant safety programs and attend staff meetings

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 86 pounds continually and 87-100 lbs with assistance
• Proficiency with tools such as claw hammers, pneumatic nail guns, and electric skill saws
• Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and comprehend numbers
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of shipping processes
• Willingness to obtain a license to operate motorized equipment
