Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse operations including crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks
• Load loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipment
• Build crates from wooden materials for flatbed shipments
• Repair or reseal damaged cartons and rebox products as needed
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and perform related maintenance duties
• Participate in plant safety programs and attend staff meetings

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 86lbs continually and team lift up to 100lbs
• Proficiency with hand and electrical tools including claw hammers, pneumatic nail guns, and electric skill saws
• Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work in environments with noise, dust, and temperature extremes
• Willingness to obtain licenses for motorized equipment or cranes

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of distribution construction or trade experience (carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Reliable work history
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of shipping processes
