About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operational tasks including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, returns, and inventory control
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and customer service levels
- Operate powered industrial equipment and process shipments of federally regulated Dangerous Goods
- Comply with the BMW Value Added Production System (VPS) to ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Adhere to all established policies, work rules, and federal, state, and local laws
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in logistics or distribution
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Dangerous Goods Certifications
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management System functionality, such as SAP or BMW WM
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and kneeling
- Availability to work 2nd shift (11:30am - 8:00pm) and overtime as needed
