Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Receive (Inbound) or select (Outbound) stock efficiently to fulfill store orders
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts according to established guidelines
• Inspect product quality and notify management of any safety or sanitation concerns
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely according to company guidelines
• Follow ergonomic programs and company policies to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
