Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare sample, pulp, and tailings shipments appropriately
• Sort and organize items within the warehouse to ensure easy retrieval
• Perform accurate data entry for inventory, stock control, and scanning of pallets/containers
• Maintain production targets and meet operational goals
• Ensure emergency exits and work areas remain clear and unobstructed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the outdoor yard and warehouse premises

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks with precision
• Experience working in a high-volume production environment
• Fluency in French (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs frequently
• Understanding of basic warehouse protocols and operations
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, and torso extension

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift (certification required if hired)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting
• Experience in receiving and shipping operations
• Ability to communicate in English
