Ward Manager (Urology)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for urological patients
• Assess individual nursing needs and plan patient care
• Organize and manage the entire nursing process and station workflows
• Perform medically ordered diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative measures
• Assist with medical interventions and accompany physician rounds
• Participate in personnel leadership, including recruitment, development, and onboarding
• Manage staff scheduling, including duty and vacation plans
• Monitor nursing standards, documentation, and quality assurance
• Organize and moderate monthly team meetings
• Manage station inventory and medication handling

Requirements

• Completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger)
• Desirable leadership experience in a similar position
• Ideally experience in the field of urology
• High level of professional and social competence
• Commitment, team orientation, and flexibility
