Ward Manager in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Nursing, organizational, and personnel management of the ward
• Close cooperation and regular exchange with the ward management team and nursing management
• Ensuring professional patient care in accordance with applicable standards
• Personnel deployment planning and participation in team and personnel development measures
• Organization of workflows in coordination with medical services and therapy
• Active participation in team development processes
• Participation in direct patient care from Monday to Friday; late and night shifts are not mandatory

Requirements

• Completed training in health and nursing, nursing specialist, or geriatric nursing
• Completed or ongoing studies in nursing management, nursing science, health economics, or business administration, or completed/ongoing training as a ward manager
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in neurology
• Desirable leadership experience
• Reliability, loyalty, high level of commitment, and desire to take on more responsibility
• Strong social competence, initiative, teamwork, and organizational skills
