Ward Manager (Adult Mental Health)

Responsibilities

• Deliver supervision to staff across the ward to ensure excellent healthcare delivery
• Work alongside the Senior Nurse to manage the on-call service and ward budgets
• Provide leadership and expertise to support a unified service and engaged workforce
• Ensure high standards are maintained and improved within the Clinical Governance framework
• Effectively utilize and supervise all nursing staff
• Serve as an expert on nursing care for service users within the specialism
• Play a key role in the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain a collaborative environment to support staff welfare and training
• Take charge of the ward as designated

Requirements

• NMC Registration (Nursing and Midwifery Council)
• Proven experience in a similar mental health environment
• Demonstrated track record of effective leadership
• Commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice
