About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 5–6 in-home walk-throughs per day with prospective members
  • Educate homeowners on membership benefits and answer questions
  • Capture home maintenance tasks directly in the company app
  • Close sales by helping prospective members book their first handyman visit
  • Maintain detailed documentation and task lists for seamless handoffs to the service team
  • Self-source approximately 30% of leads to supplement warm leads

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience in high-performance environments (startup or home services preferred)
  • Basic understanding of home systems including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to drive throughout the Chicago area with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Proven ability to handle objections and close sales in person
