About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct 5–6 in-home walk-throughs per day with prospective members
- Educate homeowners on membership benefits and answer questions
- Capture home maintenance tasks directly in the company app
- Close sales by helping prospective members book their first handyman visit
- Maintain detailed documentation and task lists for seamless handoffs to the service team
- Self-source approximately 30% of leads to supplement warm leads
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales experience in high-performance environments (startup or home services preferred)
- Basic understanding of home systems including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to drive throughout the Chicago area with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Proven ability to handle objections and close sales in person
