Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
• Present menus and explain daily specials, promotions, and signature dishes
• Demonstrate full knowledge of the FireLake grill concept, menu items, ingredients, and allergens
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to service standards
• Upsell menu items, premium beverages, and signature cocktails
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables and responding to requests
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
• Assist with table setup, mise-en-place, and closing duties
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service flow
• Ensure billing accuracy and process payments correctly

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel F&B outlet
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a guest-focused mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of POS systems
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
