Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, emphasizing wellness-oriented offerings.
• Provide recommendations based on dietary preferences, allergies, or special requirements.
• Address guest inquiries regarding ingredients, portion sizes, and preparation methods.
• Coordinate with runners and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Monitor tables to ensure guest needs are met promptly, including refilling drinks and maintaining cleanliness.
• Stay informed about nutritional values, organic ingredients, and health benefits of the menu.
• Promote wellness offerings such as detox drinks, plant-based dishes, and gluten-free options.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions, allergen awareness, and wellness-specific cuisine.
• Strong communication and listening skills to accommodate guest preferences.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• EU passport and/or valid authorization to work in Spain is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving health-conscious menus (vegan, vegetarian, organic, etc.).
• Certification in hospitality, F&B service, or nutrition.
• Previous experience working in the Balearic Islands and knowledge of local regulations.
