Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive the "Ultimate Experience" through high-end dining service
• Provide hands-on support and assistance to colleagues to maintain superior service levels
• Handle guest complaints and concerns according to company policy
• Maintain restaurant setup and an elegantly appointed dining environment according to set standards
• Perform opening and closing duties to ensure the outlet is ready for business
• Utilize the Micros system for ringing, printing, and closing checks and shift reports
• Anticipate guest needs and communicate preferences to the wider team
• Control the usage of food, beverage, and service equipment
• Respond appropriately to any hotel emergency or safety situations

Requirements

• High school Diploma or Hotel School Degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star international environment
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Proven up-selling skills training
• Strong knowledge of HACCP standards
• Proficiency with the Micros system
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
• Ability to work with speed and efficiency while maintaining a positive attitude
