About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of Food & Beverage Service in assigned sections according to hotel standards
- Provide value-added service to meet or exceed customer expectations using the "Yes I Can!" ethos
- Set up tables, chairs, and service stations including polishing glassware and cutlery
- Take drink orders and process them using the Micros system
- Serve food and drinks following correct sequence of service
- Monitor guest needs and attend to enquiries, requests, or complaints promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
- Follow hotel fire, emergency, and safety procedures
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to ensure uninterrupted service
- Strong communication skills with customers and co-workers
- Knowledge of food and beverage items and menu promotions
- Proficiency in using Micros system functions
- Commitment to high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance
