Waiter

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of Food & Beverage Service in assigned sections according to hotel standards
• Provide value-added service to meet or exceed customer expectations using the "Yes I Can!" ethos
• Set up tables, chairs, and service stations including polishing glassware and cutlery
• Take drink orders and process them using the Micros system
• Serve food and drinks following correct sequence of service
• Monitor guest needs and attend to enquiries, requests, or complaints promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
• Follow hotel fire, emergency, and safety procedures

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to ensure uninterrupted service
• Strong communication skills with customers and co-workers
• Knowledge of food and beverage items and menu promotions
• Proficiency in using Micros system functions
• Commitment to high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance
