Waiter

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters, bartenders, and hostesses during assigned shifts
• Ensure smooth daily operations of the Hills Pool Deck, maintaining service excellence and guest satisfaction
• Welcome and engage with guests to provide personalized and memorable dining experiences
• Monitor service standards, presentation, and adherence to brand guidelines
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
• Conduct daily briefings and allocate staff duties according to business levels
• Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the POS system and billing procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with UAE regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the bar and kitchen to report shortages
• Train, mentor, and support team members to improve performance and upselling techniques
• Assist management in achieving departmental targets and KPIs

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or upscale restaurant
• Previous experience in pool bar or outdoor dining operations is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards and sequence of service
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Well-groomed, professional appearance and positive attitude
