Waiter/ess

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests, providing a warm and friendly dining experience
• Manage mise en place, including setting tables, checking stock, and polishing equipment
• Act as a menu expert by suggesting dishes and wine selections with appropriate terminology
• Relay orders to the galley and beverage areas and serve food promptly
• Supervise 2 to 4 Assistant Waiters and manage assigned service stations
• Implement safety, standard operating procedures, and public health regulations
• Perform additional F&B activities such as cocktail parties, teatime, and special events
• Work a rotation of 10-12 weeks onboard followed by 3 weeks of vacation

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Waiter or similar in a 5-star hospitality or restaurant environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Physically fit and able to stand, kneel, bend, and carry heavy items for prolonged periods
• Fully vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus/Diphtheria, and Hepatitis A and B
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana and other controlled substances)
